Before Grace

Coming Summer 2025!

Heading (2).png

A beautiful story of second chances for two people who have locked their hearts away.

Long before Grace Church ever opened its doors, Isaac and Katie met—the right people at the wrong time. Now, in the early days of the church, they reconnect. But they aren’t the same people anymore. Katie is a young mother and widow, on the run from the sorrow that threatens to swallow her. And Isaac is a police officer whose life has been marked by loss and lies. They both know the cost of love, and neither is willing to pay it again.

Before Grace is wonderful! Packed with vibrant and compelling descriptions, Daugherty’s writing will pull you deep into the lives of her characters and the struggles they face. It didn't take long to become my favorite of her books.
Barbara A. Luker, author of Hiding in Plain Sight
Anna Daugherty delivers a tale of two journeys—recovering from tragedy when responsibilities leave no time for personal grief and the seemingly impossible path toward ever loving again. A beautiful story about faith, friends, family, and a path to the locksmith who will set you free.
Cam Torrens, award-winning author of the Tyler Zahn series
A heartfelt story about love, faith, and second chances (with all the feels).
Lena Gibson, author of The Wish
